InspeCity is a pioneering spacetech company specializing in sustainable in-orbit satellite servicing and space infrastructure solutions and operates globally with a focus on supporting the rapidly evolving newspace economy. InspeCity’s mission is to make satellite operations more sustainable, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible
VEDA (Vehicle for Life Extension and Deorbiting Activities): This is a special space robot that can go up to satellites, fix them, or give them a boost so they work longer. If a satellite is too old or broken, VEDA can also safely push it out of orbit so it doesn’t become space junk.
GITA Propulsion System: This is an eco-friendly engine made by InspeCity that helps satellites move around in space. It lets satellites adjust their position or get to where they need to be, using less fuel and causing less pollution in space.
Mini-Me RIG: This is a small robot that attaches to satellites and helps guide or repair them. It’s like having a mechanic in space that can do check-ups and small fixes without bringing the satellite back to Earth.
Laser-Based Debris Removal: In partnership with Japan’s Orbital Lasers, InspeCity is working on satellites that use powerful lasers to clean up space junk. The laser can gently push or slow down pieces of debris, helping to keep space safe and tidy for everyone.
Direct Sales & Contracts: Revenue is generated through direct contracts for satellite servicing, propulsion system sales, and custom integration of RPOD technologies.
Collaborative Projects: Joint ventures and MoUs with global partners to deploy and commercialize new technologies, such as laser-based debris mitigation.
Government & Defence Grants: Early-stage funding and validation through government programs like iDEX, supporting R&D and technology qualification.
Service Based Model: Charging for life-extension missions, deorbiting, and debris removal as a service offering lower cost alternatives to satellite replacement.
Technology Licensing: Potential to license proprietary propulsion and robotics tech to other space companies.
Global Expansion: Targeting international markets with scalable, vertically integrated ISAM solutions.
Market Expansion: Scaling operations from India to global markets through strategic partnerships and international collaborations.
Product Innovation: Continuous investment in R&D to enhance RPOD, propulsion, and robotic servicing technologies.
Ecosystem Development: Building a comprehensive ISAM ecosystem to address the full lifecycle needs of orbital assets.
Thought Leadership and Advocacy: Engaging in industry forums and policy discussions to shape the future of sustainable space operations.
