Revenue Share from Partners: OYO charges hotel and property owners a commission of 20–35% of the Gross Booking Value (GBV) in exchange for technology, branding, demand generation and operational support. This is the primary revenue stream.
Subscription & Listing Fees: Fixed subscription fees for property owners to list their hotels/homes on the OYO platform, providing flexibility and access to OYO’s technology and distribution network.
Direct-to-Customer Bookings: 90% of bookings in India come through OYO’s own app and website, allowing for higher margins and direct customer engagement.
Membership & Loyalty Programs: OYO Wizard, a paid loyalty program, offers exclusive deals and cashback for a fee, driving recurring revenue and customer retention.
Advertising & Partnerships: Revenue from advertising placements on the OYO app/website and strategic partnerships with brands in travel, payments and telecom.
Franchise & Leasing: In select cases, OYO also franchises or leases properties, earning a share of profits or fixed fees.
